What is a Manic Pixie Power Nap?

It’s the (made up) feminine archetype I, Suzanne, feel I most embody. Manic Pixie is my creative, love-my-life, spin-in-a-dress-in-a-field-of-flowers side, and Power Nap is my other side… the side that is exhausted just thinking about having to go to the mall to buy a new dress and then look on google maps for a nearby field of flowers to go spin in, because I’m in my mid-40s and have ADHD and that just feels like a lot of things for a Tuesday afternoon.

What kinds of things can you look forward to?

Here in this Substack newsletter you’ll find posts written by me. I write about current things happening in my life, old things that have happened in my life, the piece of fiction every now and then, and audio recordings that I don’t have the heart to call “podcasts” (while they will be perfectly interesting to listen to, I’m not gunning for any production awards).

And you don’t have to worry about missing any of it. Every new edition of the newsletter goes directly to your inbox.
